Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect
Lune collects the data you enter directly: mood check-ins, sub-emotion selections, and optional journal notes. We also collect basic device information (device model, OS version, app version) to help diagnose technical issues. We do not collect your name, email address, or any contact information unless you choose to contact us.
2. How Data Is Stored
Your mood and journal data is stored locally on your device by default. If you enable optional cloud sync, your data is stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud), encrypted in transit and at rest. You can delete your local data at any time by uninstalling the app or using the in-app delete option.
3. What We Don't Do
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your personal data with third parties except as described in this policy.
4. Third-Party Services
Lune uses Firebase (provided by Google) for optional cloud sync and crash reporting. Firebase's privacy practices are described in Google's privacy policy. We use Firebase only as a data processor acting on our behalf.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@luneapp.eu. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
6. Data Retention
Data stored locally is retained until you delete it or uninstall the app. If you use cloud sync, your data is retained until you request deletion. We delete cloud data within 30 days of a verified deletion request.
7. Children
Lune is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
